Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Financial Officer/Controller to join our multi-company group based in Madison. This flexible part-time position will play a critical role in overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing strategic guidance to support the growth and sustainability of our organizations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in corporate finance, accounting, and financial management, with the ability to lead financial initiatives across diverse sectors.

Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of financial management including budgeting, forecasting, and fiscal management.
Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements.
Lead financial report writing and interpretation for senior leadership.
Manage risk analysis and risk management strategies to mitigate potential financial risks.
Supervise corporate accounting functions and staff including payroll management and expense control.
Provide insights on mergers & acquisitions to support strategic planning efforts.
Implement treasury management practices to optimize cash flow.
Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic financial planning and corporate finance initiatives.

Skills

Strong knowledge of financial concepts including revenue management, cost accounting, and profit & loss analysis.
Proficient in financial software and technical accounting principles.
Demonstrated expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
Excellent negotiation skills with a focus on business development opportunities.
Ability to analyze complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
Strong leadership capabilities with experience supervising finance teams.
Exceptional analytical skills with a keen eye for detail in expense management and cost control. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
