Director of Business Operations

Location: Sydney

Salary: $250,000 FTE + Super (pro-rata for 3 months)

A prestigious and well-established organisation in the education sector is seeking an experienced Director of Business Operations for a short-term 3-month contract. This is an immediate start role providing high-level financial, operational and strategic support to the executive team.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and improve business systems, processes and workflows
Oversee policy compliance, internal audits and governance
Provide financial oversight including budgeting, forecasting and reporting
Analyse performance, identify risks and recommend improvements
Support strategic projects, planning and business modelling
Manage and mentor operations staff
Build strong stakeholder relationships
Uphold professional standards, confidentiality and WHS requirements

Ideal Candidate

Senior operations leader with experience in finance, strategy or business operations
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proven ability to improve processes and organisational performance
Skilled in budgeting, forecasting and operational reporting
Experienced in managing teams and stakeholders
Highly professional, proactive and strategic thinker
