About the Opportunity

As a key member of the executive leadership team, you will report to the CEO and assume a strategic role in the overall management of the business.

The Controller/CFO will have primary day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing, managing, and controlling all financial-related activities of the company, along with responsibilities associated with the business’s long-range and annual operating plans.

You will have direct responsibility for identifying process improvements and managing the following activities: accounting and reporting, cash management, cost accounting, financial forecasting and analysis & pricing.

Key Responsibilities include

Monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
Manage payroll and employee benefits.
Prepare tax returns.
Provide management and leadership around corporate and property tax matters.
Support external CPA firm procedures.
Manage and monitor cash flow activity and available cash resources.
Maintain company insurance policies and property management/property and casualty program.
Ensure effective internal controls are in place to comply with GAAP and applicable federal, state, and local regulatory laws and rules.
Enhance and implement financial and accounting systems, processes, tools, and control systems.
Oversee accounts payable function.
