About us

The City of London Corporation, representing the UK as a global financial centre, has established a permanent presence in the United States and is seeking an experienced Business Operations & Communications Officer to support our US Managing Director to help deliver high-profile events, visits and stakeholder engagement that strengthen the City of London Corporation’s presence in the US. This role presents a rare opportunity to help contribute to the future of the UK-US relationship in financial and professional services (FPS), a sector at the heart of global innovation and economic growth.

About the role

You’ll be responsible for:

Providing proactive business and administrative support to senior leadership.
Planning and delivering high-profile events and visit programmes.
Drafting communications, invitations and stakeholder materials.
Managing CRM data and event pipelines.
Supporting budget monitoring.
Supporting policy briefings on international trade and global developments.

About you

We’re looking for someone with:

Strong experience in events, operations or senior business support.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
Confidence working with senior stakeholders.
Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
Experience producing clear, high quality written communications.
Strong understanding of government issues and public affairs.

✅ Some out of hours work required.
✅ Right to work in the US.
