Role Description The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a full-time, remote role responsible for overseeing all financial operations and strategy for Virtual Vantage. This role includes developing and implementing financial plans, budgets, and forecasts aligned with the company’s growth objectives in the short-term rental and hospitality sector. The CFO manages the preparation, review, and analysis of financial statements and reporting, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery to leadership and stakeholders. Day-to-day responsibilities involve cash flow management, monitoring key financial metrics, evaluating investment opportunities, and supporting pricing and revenue optimization decisions. The CFO will collaborate closely with the executive team, lead the finance function, oversee external financial partners, and contribute to strategic initiatives that enhance profitability, scalability, and operational efficiency.
Qualifications

Strong foundation in Finance, including experience leading financial operations and strategy in a growth-oriented organization.
Expertise in Financial Planning, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial modeling.
Proficiency in preparing, interpreting, and managing Financial Statements with attention to accuracy and compliance.
Experience in Financial Reporting, including management reports, board presentations, and regulatory reporting.
Advanced Analytical Skills to evaluate performance, assess risks, support data-driven decisions, and optimize resource allocation.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA, CPA, or CFA is a plus.
Prior leadership experience in finance, preferably within real estate, property management, hospitality, or a similar asset-heavy industry.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a remote environment, collaborate across functions, and communicate complex financial concepts clearly.
Experience with modern accounting and financial systems, dashboards, and metrics-driven management; familiarity with SaaS or tech-enabled business models is beneficial.
High ethical standards, sound judgment, and a track record of building and mentoring finance teams.
