Maintain accurate fund-level accounting across DAFs, endowments, designated funds, and legacy giving vehicles, ensuring each fund's restrictions and donor intent are properly tracked

Investment Oversight

Serve as the primary staff liaison to the Investment Committee and outside investment advisors
Monitor asset allocation, investment performance, and spending policy against the Foundation's investment policy statement
Evaluate and recommend investment managers, custodians, and fund administration vendors as needed

Financial Operations & Reporting

Lead annual budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and monthly financial reporting to the Executive Director and Board
Ensure timely, accurate close processes and GAAP-compliant financial statements
Manage the annual audit and Form 990 preparation in partnership with external auditors and tax advisors

Governance & Board Support

Prepare clear, board-ready financial materials, including fund performance summaries and DAF program metrics
Advise the Finance and Investment Committees on policy questions, fee structures, and risk
Translate complex fund and investment data into materials appropriate for board-level, non-financial audiences

Team & Systems Leadership

Oversee accounting, finance, and DAF operations staff
Evaluate and improve financial systems, fund accounting software, and DAF administration platforms as the Foundation scales
