I bring over two decades of experience leading financial strategy, fiscal planning, and operational execution in complex, and I am particularly drawn to the opportunity to apply this experience in a public-sector context where disciplined financial stewardship directly supports economic growth and community impact across New Jersey.
As Founder and COO/CFO of RK Squared, I was responsible for the full scope of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow oversight, compliance, and long-range planning. I developed and executed financial plans aligned with organizational strategy, ensuring liquidity and sustainability while managing competing demands on capital. Over time, I built the company from inception to over $20 million in annual revenue while maintaining a debt-free balance sheet through rigorous financial discipline and active management of working capital.
A core focus of my role was establishing strong financial controls and ensuring transparency in reporting and decision-making. I implemented processes that strengthened internal oversight, improved the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting, and supported audit readiness. I worked closely with external auditors and advisors and prepared financial materials to support executive leadership and governance-level discussions. I also maintained direct oversight of significant financial commitments, ensuring that expenditures aligned with strategic priorities and available resources.
