I have worked as Director of Finance with Beproma Consultants Group and Samaritan's Purse providing financial strategic direction, governance, financial control, budget management and ensuring optimal utilization of organizational resources.
Some years ago, have worked with Finland Church Aid, Tearfund, and World Vision Tanzania, Sudan and South Sudan as Head of Finance managing a country profile with an annual budget of 80m USD cash.
I am a Certified public accountant (CPA) professionally, with Master’s degree in Business Administration with extensive knowledge in humanitarian support managing grants supported by institutional, multilateral, private and foundations donors eg(USAID, OFDA,WFP, CFGB, HPF, EU, DFID, AUSAID, CHF, UNHCR, UNICEF, and FAO) in both emergency and developing contexts.
I have been collaborating with senior leadership team in resources mobilization, planning and management, governance, strategy development, strengthening internal controls, risk mapping and mitigation, budgetary development and management, funding management, financial management and reporting, staff management, audit facilitation and implementation of audit recommendations, and office administration in general.
I have extensive knowledge in accounting systems(Sunsytems, Serenic, ERP unit 4, people soft, quick book, salesforce, vision executive, Power BI), people management, ability to provide strategic direction, build, lead and manage high performing and diverse teams. Ability to create an environment that enables staff to maximize their full potential and facilitates high performance. I quickly scan to understand the local and global funding context and identify appropriate and strategic funding opportunities, I like holding myself accountable for the effective and efficient use of financial resources, organization values, and on adherence to corporate priorities and general practices.
