For over 20 years, I have been the owner and strategic advisor of Pilgrim Consulting LLC, a company that helps start-ups and established businesses achieve growth, innovation, and customer satisfaction. As a revenue and sales operations expert, I have led over 50 start-up companies as an interim COO and business development leader, creating cross-functional structures and processes that affect sales teams and go-to-market strategies. I have also collaborated with key departments such as engineering, product marketing, content development, and training delivery to provide solutions for customers.
Most recently, I was the Vice President of Global Revenue and Sales Operations at Class, a leading SaaS company that provides online learning platforms. In this role, I executed programs for delivering company growth initiatives, incremental revenue, and innovative services that led to customer retention and referrals. I managed strategic operations including the playbook and funnel, streamlined transactions, and supported a producing, accountable sales team that exceeded revenue goals and resulted in growth. I also developed and implemented automation and integration systems that reduced live touch, time to receive payments, customer support tickets, and response time.
