Chief Revenue Officer

Position Overview

The Chief Revenue Officer will oversee all revenue-generating functions, including sales strategy, account management, and business development. This is a key executive role responsible for designing and executing a growth strategy that drives top-line expansion and improves overall sales effectiveness.

The ideal candidate is a proven sales leader with experience driving large-scale sales transformation within a complex organization generating $300MM+ in annual revenue. Industry experience in printing or publishing is not required — we are looking for a leader who brings fresh, cross-industry perspectives and has successfully led teams that sell through a field sales organization.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and inspire a sales organization of 60+ sales professionals, including VPs and regional leaders.
Develop and implement a comprehensive sales transformation strategy to modernize processes, tools, and go-to-market approaches.
Establish data-driven performance metrics, incentive structures, and accountability systems.
Partner with marketing, operations, and finance to ensure seamless revenue alignment and forecasting accuracy.
Drive innovation in client engagement, customer retention, and market expansion.
Create a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and high performance.
Represent the company externally at key industry events and strategic client meetings.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
Proven success leading sales teams of 50+ people within a company generating $300MM+ in annual revenue.
Demonstrated experience in sales transformation, process improvement, and scaling teams.
Strong leadership skills with a track record of developing senior leaders and high-performing teams.
Excellent strategic thinking, communication, and analytical abilities.
Experience from an industry that goes to market through salespeople (e.g., manufacturing, distribution, B2B services, etc.).
Willingness to travel as needed to meet with teams, clients, and stakeholders.
Experience in printing and publishing is a plus.

Pay: $250,000.00 - $400,000.00 per year
