How You’ll Add Value…

The Sales Operations Specialist, as part of the Sales Operations Team at Azenta Life Sciences will work closely with our sales organization and will assist in all support areas of sales. The successful applicant must have the ability to multi tasks in a timely and effective manner and have excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills to assist internal and external personnel with inquiries, schedule and run meetings, and overall sales enablement. This is a very fast-paced environment with a high turnover of sales support needs and excellent organizational skills are critical to this role along with excellent time management and attention to detail.

What You’ll Do…

Communication between sales representatives, sales management and leadership teams and multiple SME groups throughout Azenta Life Sciences, often working on several sales opportunities and projects at once across multiple business units whilst ensuring customer deadlines are met.
Work with Legal and Finance teams on the execution of customer agreements and terms and conditions and gaining the relevant business unit approvals.
Assist with the preparation of sales proposals and client communications when required.
Complete Request for Information/vendor forms, working with SME's and using a bank of information and gaining approvals in a timely manner.
Attend meetings when required, providing updates to the sales team on opportunities that you are supporting on
Contribute ideas in team discussions on evaluation of processes and procedures to improve items such as sales processes and efficiency improvements.
Work closely with Sales Operations Manager to establish priorities and to execute sales improvement projects.

Key Requirements

A minimum of 3 years’ experience required in a similar role such as Sales Support, Bid Coordinator, Project Coordinator or Sales Operations with experience of working in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in the use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce.
Goal Orientated and Collaborative style.
Excellent Communication Skills with confidence to communicate at all levels from sales reps, sales managers and up to Vice President level.
A team player with a high level of dedication.
Self-starter and proactive way of working with excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize daily.
Experience working in multi-cultural and/or and global environments.
Experience using a CRM program e.g. Salesforce.com or Oracle

Working Conditions/ Schedule

Office Environment or Working from Home – dependent on location.
May be required to travel sometimes overnight to client sites, trade shows or training. Travel is expected to be less than 5% of employee time.
