The Role

Cirrus is seeking a results-driven CRO with broad experience building and executing growth-focused B2B sales strategies and teams. The CRO will be a dynamic, highly data-driven leader who will not only design and deliver optimized funnels and flywheels, but also utilize data to help prioritize and develop the team’s resources for scalable growth. In this role, Cirrus is seeking an architect of a high-velocity sales machine driven by people, data, and technology.

Responsibilities

Grow revenue through new sales acquisition, installation, and retention of assigned accounts
Build and scale a sales flywheel with an emphasis on revenue growth, operational efficiency, and speed of execution
Own the pipeline health (coverage, velocity, close rates) and forecast for the regions
Design, present and drive compelling strategic plans by developing goals, objectives, and implementation plans
Provide leadership and vision for a dispersed sales team, while effectively handling performance across the team to hit goals for the regions and manage poor performers
Define characteristics of top performers for the organization. Identify, recruit, hire and train the team to build and retain a group of highly motivated, bold, and top performing outside sales reps and sales managers
Own and improve the sales process and customer experience from pre-sale to post-sale
Examine and improve key business processes through tech/data innovation that drives scalable growth
Proactively evaluate and establish an organizational structure to fit the current needs of the business
Actively participate in executive decisions related to the team by providing thoughtful analysis and input related to pricing strategies, prioritization, and delivery of company initiatives

Skills and Qualifications

10+ years of experience designing, building, and leading B2B sales teams or business units. Prior CRO or SVP experience in a fast-paced, preferably tech environment.
Investment banking or management consulting experience preferred
Prior experience working in a creative, high-growth, digital-first environments
Understand how to build a lean, effective organization and committed to the continuous optimization of processes and structures
Deep experience in understanding and evaluating financial / sales modeling and forecasting
Demonstrated success with data-driven decision modeling and execution of recommendations
Experienced manager and a key contributor who frequently overachieves on assigned goals or critical metrics
Consistent record of sales success in a similar enterprise software application environment or working in a successful start-up environment
Experience includes complex high-value sales to key accounts
Proven ability to motivate and lead a team with an entrepreneurial spirit, positive attitude, and passion for the business. Works with autonomy, needing little guidance
Previous experience with change management

Education

Bachelor’s Degree, MBA preferred

Physical Requirements

Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time
Close visual focus required
The position requires the use of a headset, computer, and keyboard for the duration of a work day

Compensation

Salary, exempt from overtime. Bonus.
