About Orion

Orion is Haptiq’s AI-native enterprise operations platform, designed to help organizations connect data, automate workflows, surface insights, and turn complex business processes into intelligent, scalable operations.

Orion combines enterprise data, AI, automation, analytics, and workflow capabilities into a flexible platform that can be applied across high-value enterprise use cases.

We are at an important stage in Orion’s evolution: moving from a platform developed through our deep enterprise services and delivery experience toward a repeatable, scalable commercial product business.

We are looking for a commercial leader who can help us make that transition.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a VP, Enterprise Go-to-Market – Orion to own and build the commercial engine for Orion.

This is not a traditional sales leadership role. The mandate spans GTM strategy, enterprise sales, business development, partnerships, product positioning, and commercial enablement.

You will define how we take Orion to market, identify where we can win, build the commercial narrative, create demand, develop strategic relationships, and personally drive high-value enterprise opportunities.

The ideal candidate is an enterprise GTM / commercialization leader who can personally sell. You have experience taking complex technology to sophisticated enterprise buyers, translating technical capabilities into compelling business outcomes, and building repeatable commercial motions.

You are equally comfortable developing a market strategy, writing the first sales deck, meeting with a CIO or COO, shaping a POC, developing a strategic partnership, and closing a seven-figure enterprise opportunity.

This is a builder role. You will have significant ownership and autonomy to establish the GTM foundation for Orion and, over time, build the team and infrastructure around it.

What You'll Own

GTM Strategy

Own Orion’s GTM strategy, ICP, target markets, use cases, and commercial roadmap.
Identify priority enterprise opportunities and build a repeatable path from engagement to deployment and expansion.

Positioning & Product Marketing

Own Orion’s positioning, messaging, value proposition, and differentiation.
Translate product capabilities into compelling customer outcomes and lead core commercial materials, thought leadership, and market-facing content.

Enterprise Sales

Personally lead strategic enterprise opportunities from prospecting through close.
Build C-suite relationships, develop business cases and ROI narratives, and establish a scalable sales methodology and pipeline discipline.

Partnerships & Business Development

Develop strategic partnerships and new routes to market across technology, consulting, data, AI, and the PE ecosystem.
Leverage Haptiq’s existing relationships to accelerate Orion’s market penetration.

Build the Commercial Engine

Establish the processes, systems, KPIs, and GTM playbook needed to scale.
Build the commercial team and resources required to grow Orion over time.

What Success Looks Like

Success in this role will ultimately be measured by commercial traction and revenue growth for Orion, including:

Orion new-logo bookings and revenue
Qualified enterprise pipeline
Pipeline coverage and conversion
Number and quality of strategic enterprise opportunities
New enterprise customers
Win rate and sales-cycle progression
POC-to-commercial conversion
Expansion opportunities within existing customers
Strategic partnerships and ecosystem development
Strength and clarity of Orion's market positioning
Development of a repeatable and scalable GTM playbook

The first phase of the role will involve significant 0→1 building. Over time, the goal is to create a commercial engine that can operate and scale beyond the individual.

What We're Looking For

Required

10+ years of experience in B2B enterprise technology sales, GTM, commercialization, business development, or a combination thereof.
Demonstrated success selling complex technology solutions to large enterprises.
Track record of personally originating, developing, and closing significant enterprise opportunities.
Experience selling solutions involving software, AI, data, analytics, automation, enterprise technology, or digital transformation.
Strong executive presence and ability to build relationships with C-suite and senior business and technology leaders.
Ability to translate complex technology into clear business value and compelling commercial narratives.
Experience developing enterprise account strategies and navigating complex buying organizations.
Strong consultative and value-based selling skills.
Experience working cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Delivery, and other technical teams.
Demonstrated ability to operate in an entrepreneurial, high-growth environment.
Strong commercial judgment and ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Preferred

Experience selling into financial services, including private equity, asset management, banking, insurance, or related industries.
Experience with enterprise AI, data platforms, analytics, automation, workflow, or enterprise software.
Experience selling products that require technical validation, POCs, or complex implementation.
Experience taking a product or platform from 0→1 or 1→10 commercially.
Experience building GTM strategy and/or product marketing in addition to direct sales.
Experience developing strategic technology or consulting partnerships.
Familiarity with enterprise sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC, Challenger, or similar frameworks.
Existing relationships with senior leaders across financial services, private equity, or enterprise technology.
Experience working in a business that combines software/product and professional services.

Why Haptiq

This is an opportunity to join a company at a meaningful inflection point.

Haptiq already has the enterprise relationships, technology capabilities, domain expertise, and delivery organization required to solve complex problems for sophisticated organizations.

Orion gives us the opportunity to turn that expertise into a more scalable, repeatable technology platform and commercial business.

You will have the opportunity to define the market strategy, shape the product's commercial identity, establish the initial customer base, and ultimately build the GTM organization around it.

For the right person, this is an opportunity to build an enterprise AI platform business from the ground up—not simply inherit an existing sales organization.
