Our client is seeking an experienced Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to lead their go-to-market strategy for our innovative predictive maintenance robot. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hardware sales, preferably with experience in government contracts. This role is crucial in driving their expansion into military, defense, manufacturing, and other sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

Create and implement a comprehensive revenue strategy, focusing initially on government, transit and manufacturing markets. This includes identifying new opportunities, setting revenue targets, and forecasting.
Manage key sales and business development activities, establishing relationships with high-value customers across target sectors. Craft tailored pitches for diverse clients to ensure market penetration and revenue growth.
Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships. Act as a senior point of contact for key clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Work closely with product development team to relay customer feedback and market demands, guiding innovation.
Lead contract negotiations with clients and partners; manage contract compliance requirements.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure cohesive strategies and messaging.
Play a crucial role in fundraising efforts and investor relations, crafting compelling narratives about the startup's value proposition.

Qualifications:

Proven track record in hardware sales, with a minimum of 10 years experience in sales leadership roles.
Experience with government contracts, particularly in the military and defense sectors.
Understanding of predictive maintenance technologies and their applications in various industries.
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful go-to-market strategies.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Experience in scaling technology businesses beyond $20M in revenue.
