Senior Manager, Sales Compensation

Omnicell Inc. has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Manager, Global Sales Incentive Compensation to join our Global Sales Compensation team. The candidate will support Omnicell Sales and Finance goals and objectives, through the development of our Incentive Compensation Management System (ICM), forecasting, process improvements, sales compensation reporting, data analysis and administrative support.The candidate will collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, IT/IS, Sales and Sales Analytics to achieve organization goals.

Responsibilities

Key participant in the development, management and implementation of sales compensation plans and programs, including implementation of such in the commission system.
Liaison between the Sales Organization and Finance to ensure timely resolution to inquiries, exceptions, and adjustments
Manage the timely creation, distribution, and governance of our sales incentive compensation plans, including SOX compliance activities
Collaborate cross functionally with partners in Sales, Sales Operations, Finance & HR to continuously improve and streamline efficiency and effectiveness of systems and processes.
Partner with Finance on commissions budget planning, forecasting and accruals.
Provide analytical support and ad-hoc research and analysis on variable compensation projects or growth initiatives across Sales Operations.
Work with cross functional partners annually to review sales compensation plans to align with strategic direction of upcoming year.
Improve productivity by highlighting deficiencies and recommending changes in tools, training, processes, reporting and employee engagement
Gather information from the sales team and independent representatives to assist in forecasting
Create executive level reports for cost analytics to support strategic direction or to support proposed changes to sales compensation plans
Analyze and communicate the key metrics and drivers of plan performance (against history, budget, forecast, strategic plan)
Analyze the key drivers and metrics vs. historical performance, budgets, forecasts, and strategic plans and communicate results to leadership for decision support, plan reviews and operational reviews
Utilize financial models that incorporate all relevant metrics and drivers of the business
Communicate analytical results verbally, in writing and in presentation form to all levels of management
Execute Sarbanes-Oxley policies related to sales compensation and Finance, and strictly adhere to those policies
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

An understanding of complex business applications, data analysis, and relational databases
Experience implementing new process and systems is preferred. Varicent experience is a big plus.
Experience with incentive compensation systems (ie. Varicent, Xactly, Callidus, Cognos, etc.)
Experience in incentive compensation, data analysis and report building
A high threshold for ambiguity and lack of structured process during early phases of engagements
Extremely proactive with a strong bias for action; naturally inquisitive; desire to continuously improve current business practices/processes
Effective verbal and written communications skills; effective presentation and negotiation skills with demonstrated ability to facilitate cross-functional team projects
Knowledge of business intelligence tools, Salesforce Einstein, Tableau, etc.
Working knowledge of Six Sigma tools and processes

Basic Qualifications:

6+ year experience in developing, managing and analyzing Sales Incentive/Compensation plans
Bachelor’s Degree
Experience with incentive compensation systems (ie. Varicent, Xactly, Callidus, Cognos, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field
Experience with Varicent- incentive compensation tool
Experience in the healthcare industry
Experience with Subscription-based commissions

Work Conditions:

Remote. Candidates in EDT time zone preferred.
<10% Travel or Team Meetings.
