We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales Operations Manager to join Sientra, Inc. As a Sales Operations Manager, you will be responsible for various aspects of sales operations, including commission calculation, territory setting, quota creation, forecasting, pipeline management, salesforce.com reports, and business intelligence. You will play a critical role in optimizing the success of our sales team and ensuring smooth operational processes.

Responsibilities:

Commission Calculation: Develop and manage the commission structure and calculation process for the sales team, ensuring accuracy and timely payouts.
Territory Setting: Collaborate with sales leadership to define and establish territories, ensuring effective distribution of accounts and opportunities.
Quota Creation: Assist in the development and implementation of sales quotas and targets, aligned with business objectives and market conditions.
Forecasting: Utilize historical data, market trends, and input from the sales team to generate accurate sales forecasts, enabling effective resource allocation and business planning.
Pipeline Management: Oversee the sales pipeline, ensuring its accuracy, integrity, and alignment with sales objectives. Implement processes and tools to track and analyze pipeline data.
Salesforce.com Reports: Generate and analyze sales reports using Salesforce.com or similar CRM platform, providing insights to sales leadership and stakeholders.
Business Intelligence: Leverage data and analytics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement within the sales organization. Develop actionable recommendations based on analysis.
Process Improvement: Continuously assess and enhance sales operations processes, identifying bottlenecks and implementing streamlined workflows to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as a liaison between the sales team and other departments, such as marketing, finance, and upper management, to ensure alignment and collaboration on key initiatives.
Training and Support: Train sales staff on new technology and software tools, providing ongoing support and guidance to maximize their productivity and effectiveness.
Data Management: Ensure accurate and up-to-date sales data and customer information, adhering to ethical practices and data protection policies.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in sales operations, preferably in the medical device industry.
In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with commission calculation, territory management, quota setting, forecasting, pipeline management, and salesforce.com or similar CRM systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence key stakeholders.
Proven track record of process improvement and implementing best practices in sales operations.
Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality of work.
Proficiency in business intelligence tools and advanced MS Excel skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
