We are looking for a Sales Operations Specialist to join our team and support our sales team to ensure our organization reaches the sales goals each year. You will provide support to sales representatives and respond to customer and prospect queries. Sales Operations responsibilities include building documents for the sales team, conducting research and analyzing data and overseeing various administrative tasks required to ensure our organization reaches our sales goals. Ultimately, you will work with a team of Salespeople, company leadership and Finance to support the overall sales processes throughout the year.

We expect you to perform well in a team environment and have exceptional people skills. Ultimately, you should be able to contribute to creating and maintaining good customer relationships and ensuring smooth sales team operations.

Responsibilities

Increase sales reps' efficiency with leads, transactions and time management
Find creative ways to identify new business and improve sales processes
Create and maintain opportunities, maintain the integrity of data in Salesforce database
Follow up on custom project status, create and modify opportunities; create sales quotes, and close out purchase orders as needed
Assist sales teams in updating and managing open opportunity pipeline on a continuous basis
Liaise with sales team to develop specific sales strategies
Provide troubleshooting assistance for customer orders, account statuses and relevant problems
Provide data and guides to help the sales team accelerate revenue generation
Generate SFDC data reports and Dashboards as needed
Develop and monitor performance indicators
Manage sales tracking tools and report on important information
Keep record of sales trends and report back to the commercial team
Establish regular reporting cadence and report out to sales team, leadership and finance monthly/quarterly/annually
Stay up-to-date with new product and feature launches and ensure sales team is aligned
Become a subject matter expert in the product portfolio to support customers and the commercial team
Review pending orders and specific customer requests to ensure excellent customer service and customer experience
Respond directly to inbound client requests for information, sales quotes, and other business activities as directed by members of the commercial team
Maintain excellence, accuracy, and speed in all correspondence with both internal and external constituents
Build positive working relationships and support a healthy team environment

Requirements

Proven work experience in a Sales Operations or similar role
Strong understanding of the sales process to support the sales team
Analytical skills to interpret sales data to make suggestions on how to improve the sales process
Experience working with different teams and departments to streamline onboarding and reporting
Proven work experience as a Sales support specialist or Sales support associate
Hands on experience with ERP and CRM systems
Proficiency with MS Office Suite, particularly MS Excel
In-depth understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
