The Sales Operations Specialist is a critical role responsible for optimizing the sales process, ensuring data accuracy, and driving operational excellence to support Slingshot Biosciences' growth. Reporting directly to the VP of Strategic Accounts, this individual will work closely with cross-functional teams to improve sales efficiency, enhance reporting, and deliver insights that inform strategic decisions.
This position is ideal for a self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills and a passion for life sciences who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize Salesforce to ensure accurate tracking of sales activities, leads, and customer interactions.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights into sales performance, pipeline health, and forecast accuracy.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency of the sales cycle.
- Help triage incoming leads across all channels including marketing leads, inbound web chats, emails, and phone calls.
- Coordinate and assist with the onboarding and training of new sales team members.
- Monitor and maintain data integrity in sales systems, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
- Prepare and present weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports to the VP, Strategic Accounts, and executive leadership.
- Partner with sales, marketing, and customer success teams to align goals and optimize lead conversion strategies.
- Act as a liaison between sales and other departments, facilitating smooth communication and process alignment.
- Contribute to the planning and execution of sales campaigns, pricing strategies, and incentive programs.
- Support account activities, including vendor registration, case management, distributor support, prospecting, contract support, and client engagement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- 2-3 years of sales ops experience, preferably in the biotech, life sciences, or healthcare industries.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Highly organized and detail oriented with strong time management skills.
- Experience using CRM tools like Salesforce and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace (G-Suite).
- A results-driven mindset with a passion for contributing to a growing company.
Our salary ranges are calculated by role and level. Your position within that range will be determined by your job-related knowledge, skills, experience, relevant education, and training/certifications. In addition to those factors, we also examine internal equity as well as consider current market rate, and title may be assessed one level lower or higher accordingly. After you join the company your performance, contributions, and results along with business and organizational needs will affect your base salary. The base salary range for this full-time position is between $85,000 - $110,000 + equity + benefits.
