Chief Revenue Officer

We are adding a Chief Revenue Officer to our Executive Team to oversee and manage profit centers across the organization while developing and implementing revenue driving strategy including new product recommendations, sales and marketing approaches and overall business development.

Major areas of focus include, but are not limited to:

Team Leadership

Manage, build and mentor the executive sales team to leverage a proprietary database across the organization, create market positioning, identify competitive advantages and ultimately form a strategic revenue generating roadmap.
Create and foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and alignment between all revenue-related functions.
Provide an excellent communication framework across various divisions to share knowledge and best practices to maximize revenue.

New Business Development

Identify and oversee the evolution of new data products, partnerships and services as it pertains to marketing, technology and analytics that are relevant to our client base to optimize opportunity and fuel growth.
Create a comprehensive strategy to increase revenue on existing data products and services. This can include data licensing and digital audience monetization, preferably a blend of both offline and online marketing data, as well as data-driven marketing solutions such as direct mail and email.
Maintain expert-level industry knowledge and trends, including an ongoing competitor analysis particularly as it relates to data-related solutions.

Budget Management

Set metrics to measure and analyze productivity to tie strategy to tangible results.
Ensure efficient allocation of resources to achieve maximum return on investment.

Our ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in leading a company’s sales and marketing efforts with experience maintaining long-term perspective while also striving to drive quarterly revenue results.

Additional qualifications for this role include but are not limited to:

Strong experience in a Chief Revenue Officer role or a similar position with success in achieving revenue growth in a dynamic business environment.
A minimum of 10 years’ sales management experience in marketing products including data, data related products and services as well as digital solutions, including email marketing.
Experience overseeing a high-level sales staff while managing multiple personality types and business approaches.
The ability to clearly communicate revenue strategy across all relevant functions and ensure the right goals are defined and met.
An established and strong client/prospect list to generate sales opportunities, as well as trusted partnership relationships to enhance our suite of services and product offerings.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with high level of accuracy and attention to detail with the ability to anticipate quickly and continually assess changing client needs to adapt resources and strategies accordingly.
Strong communication, organizational, presentation, problem solving and analytical skills.
