Position Summary

Summit 7 relies on its leaders to creatively solve complex business problems while providing strong leadership in accordance with our core values. We're looking for an experienced Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) who is curious, a team player, and dedicated to our mission of securing the warfighter (and Defense Industrial Base). The CRO will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing all revenue generating activities within the company, including Product Management, Marketing, Sales, Partnerships, and other activities associated with generating income and increasing profitability. A strong background in Sales and Product Management is an absolute must to be successful in this role.

Responsibilities

Partner with senior leadership to execute corporate strategic plan, and develop and execute the strategic plans for assigned teams to ensure the company exceeds its revenue and profitability goals
Identify and execute strategies that will ensure performance and alignment of the company's revenue-generating departments
Build and foster creative, high performing teams that are committed to mission accomplishment and innovation
Collaborate throughout the organization on messaging, pricing strategies, new products, and business models for achieving revenue goals
Lead a high performing and dynamic sales team through collaboration, development, and execution of a variety of sales initiatives while managing adherence to sales metrics, market trends, changes in market landscape, in order to position the company competitively and drive business growth through effective strategies
Build outcome driven support functions for sales and marketing success, including training, analytics, team structure, and management
Create and maintain culture of success and goal achievement
Inspire customer success leadership to define and deliver on the customer value proposition, without sacrificing profitability targets
Work closely with the finance department to implement better metrics to develop an efficient, data driven operation that identifies, services, and develops all revenue generation opportunities
Other duties as assigned

Requirements

10-15 years in diverse leadership roles, driving and implementing revenue growth
Proven track record of growing revenue through sales, new product development, marketing, branding, and partnerships
Hands-on leader with a successful track record in a dynamic, fast-growing environment, where creating a structured process for future hires was needed. Maximizes talent and budget
Experience building effective compensation plans that successfully achieved objectives
Experience rapidly scaling a team and organization to support a company's growing commercial success; the right candidate will be one in which people want to follow them throughout their career
Excellent relationship skills, forming trust-based relationships with a diverse set of stakeholders
Excellent communicator: clearly articulates key value propositions, processes, and performance and can catalyze the team with plans, vision, and teamwork to efficiently execute
Strongly analytical, uses data to support and make decisions
General management and P&L experience
Strong diplomatic and negotiation skills
Strong technical experience with HubSpot or Salesforce and other business productivity tools, including Microsoft products

Optional/Desired

Experience in IT Services, Managed Services or Managed Security Services
Demonstrated rapid tool development & automation experience
Bachelor's or master's degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred
