Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and management of daily operations, ensuring alignment with the organization's mission and values.

- Cultivate a culture of transparency and engagement by effectively communicating organizational goals and decisions at all levels.
- Mentor team members, facilitating their professional development in business planning, financial management, and risk assessment.
- Oversee the organization's financial health, ensuring budgetary compliance and optimal resource distribution.
- Stay updated on nonprofit audit practices, state and federal regulations, and risk management best practices.
- Actively engage with operational sites and local communities to promote a positive organizational image.
- Support fundraising and other resource development initiatives to enhance organizational sustainability.
- Serve as the Secretary of the Board, ensuring efficient communication between the executive team and board members.
- Collaborate with legal counsel and board leadership to evaluate business opportunities and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Streamline Board reporting and ensure timely communication of updates.
- Partner with the CEO and Board leadership to devise strategies for Board growth and effectiveness.
- Work with the Chief Finance & Strategy Officer to provide essential financial and operational data to the Board for informed decision-making.
- Oversee governance functions, including bylaws, policies, and recordkeeping.

Qualifications

- Proven success in managing complex projects across multiple teams.
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Willingness to travel as required.
