Deal Desk Director
Location: Hybrid either in our Charlotte NC, New York NY or Palo Alto CA office.
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Deal Desk Director to lead our Strategic Pricing operations. This individual will become highly familiar with Intapp market offerings and business practices, in order to help lead the evolution of our pricing & commercial negotiation strategy in our most strategic accounts, across all regions.
What you will do:

The primary focus of this position will be to work with our Enterprise sales teams to document individual opportunities, prepare pricing analysis and facilitate Pricing Committee review of key opportunities. Help structure profitable and compliant transactions that address the needs of a diverse set of internal corporate customers and ultimately increase the effectiveness and productivity of our sales teams.

Ensure timely engagement when key opportunities arise, develop standard tracking and status reporting of all strategic pricing activities.

This role fosters casual conversations, problem-solving, and trusted relationships to help drive optimized outcomes.

Develop trusted relationship with key stakeholder across Sales, Accounting, Deal Management, and Industry/Business Unit Leadership.

Collaborate with cross functional stakeholders to identify, investigate, and resolve existing deal policies and process escalations, blockers, issues, gaps, and pain points that impact deal velocity.

Become expert on Intapp contracting process & policies to ensure optimal deal structures. Ensure that all transactions adhere to internal revenue recognition policies and operational guidelines

Review will include financial analysis for ACV optimization, revenue compliance, and non-standard term requests on strategic deals including Enterprise Agreements

Identify, document, communicate "Guiding Principles for pricing and deal structuring (aka "The Intapp Way")

Be a sales advocate and partner to internal organizations to understand contract requirements, structure, business terms and identification of potential risks and/or opportunities that can affect performance, growth and strategic positioning

Evaluate current processes and offer recommendations for areas of improvement
What you will need:

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong understanding of B2B sales processes, particularly in the technology/SaaS sector.

Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools.

Understanding of GAAP revenue standards in SaaS or subscription-based technology companies

Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment.

12 + years of experience in deal desk, pricing, sales operations, or related roles.

Superior communication.

Change management experience.

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field; MBA preferred.
