Lead the execution, and delivery of key strategic initiatives to enhance support for agents and indirect customers

Join the Qantas Sales Operations team as a Change and Project Manager, reporting to the Head of Sales Operations. In this pivotal role, you will lead the execution design and delivery of key strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing support for our agents and indirect customers. A major focus will be leading the change program, as part of a Project Working Group, as we implement a global identity management tool for our global agency website, scheduled over the next 6–12 months.
Collaborating across IT, Digital, Agency Partnerships, Communications, and Distribution teams, you will champion seamless change programs, overseeing detailed reviews with diverse stakeholders to ensure coordinated and successful delivery. Your responsibilities will encompass designing go to market sequencing, developing sustainable operating and risk frameworks, and crafting communication and training plans to ensure a positive change experience for our people, agents, and customers. If you thrive on navigating governance complexities and solving intricate problems, this role offers a dynamic opportunity to make a meaningful impact.
You’ll have –

5+ years in commercial, project management or change management role

Experience in the airline industry is preferred, with a strong understanding of its operational dynamics.

Proven expertise in leading change programs within large organisations, with a focus on customer-centric initiatives.

Experience working with contact centres or support functions is highly desirable.

Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage cross-functional projects involving diverse stakeholders.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with senior management and external partners.

Strategic thinker with analytical skills to translate business ideas into actionable plans while addressing commercial drivers and risks.

Proficiency in project management methodologies and decision-making, with the ability to prioritise competing tasks to meet deadlines.

Highly self-motivated team player with the capability to lead forums with senior management and foster collaborative working relationships.
