Sales Operations Analyst
Job Summary:
As a Sales Operations Analyst at Amathus Drinks, you will play a pivotal role in empowering our Sales and Customer Service teams by streamlining processes and driving operational efficiency, forming a bridge between these two key departments.
Working collaboratively with the sales organisation, you will optimise sales processes, create data-driven insights, and implement innovative productivity tools.
This role involves generating essential reports to support our Sales team, often under pressure, updating procurement platforms, managing complex price files, assisting with tenders, and overseeing a select client portfolio.
An expertise in Excel is essential for the role as are strong analytical skills. A knowledge of the wine and spirits industry is desirable.
This role will need to work with the Customer Service team in peak periods, processing orders and helping customers. A truly exceptional candidate will progress to creating reports on trends and market intelligence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Support & Reporting:
o Create, generate and send various daily/weekly/monthly reports internally and externally
o Develop and manage lead generation, to identify sales opportunities and assign accounts
o Provide advance notice to customers on price increases
o Assist in the development and roll out of sales tools and platforms to improve sales team efficiency and commercial effectiveness
- CRM & Procurement Platform Management:
o Update and maintain price files on procurement platforms (Procure Wizard, Safron, Birchstreet etc)
o Maintain allergen and nutritional information records alongside
- Composite Quotes & Tender Support:
o Support sales team on group tender and pricing alongside other departments.
o Provide support during the collation of tender’s documents for group and regional on trade accounts, liaising with other departments as required
- Account Management & Order Processing:
o Manage a small set of accounts within the Sales Ops portfolio, fostering growth and client satisfaction.
o Collaborate with the web and Customer Service teams to identify and capitalise on trends
o Assist Customer Service team during peak periods
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
o Collaborate with Finance, Marketing, Purchasing, and Customer Service to ensure alignment with business goals and flow of customer requests
o Act as a liaison for stock control, aiding the sales team with managing stock allocations and limited-release products.
- Data Integrity & Retro Calculations:
o Maintain a list of accounts with contracts, rebates, or retro calculations, supporting finance to streamline reporting and payouts.
Required Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Excel (advanced level)
- Excellent verbal and written English skills.
- Strong analytical skills with a data-driven, detail-oriented approach.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms and ERP systems, ideally Navision desirable
- Knowledge or interest in the wine and spirits industry (WSET qualification desirable).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a sales support or sales operations role.
- Familiarity with procurement platforms (Procure Wizard, Safron, Birch Street) and CRM programmes (Sales-I)
- Knowledge of the wines and spirits industry

Pay: £30,000.00 per year
