AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Sales (AGS) team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success.
The AWS Global Sales Strategy & Operations team is seeking an experienced Sales Operations Leader who will serve as trusted advisor to Sales Leaders and sales teams, supporting their business operations in the London office. This role will be responsible for looking around corners and measuring the performance of the organization and supplying sales leadership with relevant and timely insights on the health of their business and growth opportunities. In addition, this role will also partner with finance to drive strategic projects around revenue, forecasting and analytics in order to driving standardization, automation, and scalability across our core processes. The ideal candidate thrives in an ambiguous, fast-paced environments, is excited about working with data, has a strong bias for action, driven to dive deep, and is passionate about collaborating to create, develop and maintain go-to-market operational support across the region.

As Sales Operations Lead, your role is critical and highly visible across the organization. Your key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Operational Excellence
- Lead development and execution of sales operations initiatives across multiple regions
- Design and implement scalable operational frameworks and processes
- Drive operational excellence through continuous improvement programs
- Provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership based on complex data analysis
- Manage annual/monthly/quarterly business planning cycles and operational reviews
Business Intelligence & Analytics
- Own development of executive-level reporting and insights
- Lead advanced analytics projects to identify business opportunities
- Design and implement metrics to track organizational health
- Create predictive models to support strategic decision-making
Stakeholder Management
- Partner with Sales Leadership team to support their sales operational needs
- Manage complex, cross-functional program governance
- Provide timely reports and data insights

Basic Qualifications
- Strong executive writing skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience developing and implementing systems/tools utilized for CRM, variable compensation, revenue reporting, forecasting, Salesforce automation, etc.
- Experience defining, refining and implementing sales processes, procedures and policies or equivalent
- Proven experience with CRM tools, revenue reporting, forecasting, sales force automation, etc.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using Salesforce (or other CRM tool) or BI tools
- SQL expert
- Experience presenting to senior leadership
- Demonstrated successful track record in planning and executing strategic and operational deliverables
