Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Support Representative to join our dynamic sales team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in driving sales growth by providing exceptional support to our customers and ensuring a seamless sales process. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a proactive approach to lead generation and customer engagement.
Duties
- Assist the sales team/manager in generating leads through various channels, including cold calling and direct outreach.
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients and understand industry trends.
- Support outside sales efforts by preparing presentations, proposals, and other sales materials.
- Manage customer inquiries and provide timely responses to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the sales management team to develop strategies for territory sales growth.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and customer interactions in the CRM system.
- Negotiate terms with clients as needed to facilitate successful sales transactions.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance product knowledge and improve sales techniques.
Requirements
- Proven experience in technology sales, retail sales, or territory sales is preferred.
- Familiarity with lead generation techniques and cold calling strategies.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools for tracking performance and managing leads.
- A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
