Administrative Management
✅ Handle all incoming calls, emails, and inquiries related to business operations.
✅ Maintain company records, contracts, and regulatory filings (PUCO, FMCSA, insurance, etc.).
✅ Organize and track accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, and payroll processing.
✅ Develop internal policies and procedures to streamline operations.
✅ Order office supplies, manage company documents, and maintain confidentiality.
Driver Recruitment & Management
✅ Recruit, hire, and onboard drivers (Cargo Vans, Box Trucks, Future Expansion).
✅ Conduct interviews, background checks, and MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) screenings.
✅ Ensure all drivers meet PUCO and FMCSA compliance standards.
✅ Maintain driver files, including medical certificates, insurance, and training records.
✅ Develop and enforce safety policies, driver handbooks, and performance evaluations.
Route Planning & Dedicated Contract Management
✅ Research and secure dedicated B2B contracts with freight brokers, retailers, and manufacturers.
✅ Negotiate rates for expedited shipments, Amazon Relay, FedEx, and local business deliveries.
✅ Work with dispatchers and drivers to optimize route efficiency and scheduling.
✅ Monitor load boards and freight opportunities for additional revenue.
✅ Maintain strong relationships with brokers, shippers, and direct customers.
Compliance & Regulatory Management
✅ Ensure PUCO and DOT compliance for intrastate trucking operations.
✅ Keep up with insurance filings (Form E, BOC-3, UCR, etc.).
✅ Maintain vehicle maintenance logs, registration, and safety inspections.
✅ Handle accident reporting, claims, and risk management.
Customer Service & Client Relations
✅ Act as the main point of contact for customer inquiries and complaints.
✅ Ensure on-time deliveries and handle issues with late shipments.
✅ Provide quotes and estimates for B2B clients needing expedited shipping.
✅ Track customer satisfaction and service performance metrics.
Growth & Expansion Strategy
✅ Assist in future fleet expansion (from cargo vans to box trucks, dump trucks, and beyond).
✅ Identify new business opportunities and partnerships with large carriers.
✅ Develop marketing strategies to promote services and build brand recognition.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.10 - $22.10 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 32 per week
