We’re seeking a Business Operations Analyst to join our team and play a pivotal role in improving our operations through insightful data analysis, problem-solving, and strategic recommendations. This is a hands-on, highly analytical position focused on applying mathematical modeling, simulation, and creative analytics to identify problems and implement effective solutions.
Your Role:
As a Business Operations Analyst, you’ll be at the heart of optimizing business operations, leveraging data and analysis to:
- Identify Operational Issues: Use statistical modeling to uncover underlying issues and potential concerns in business processes. You’ll work closely with stakeholders to discuss findings and ensure the problems are well understood.
- Research and Resolve Issues: After pinpointing problems, you’ll conduct in-depth investigations and analysis to determine the root cause. You’ll identify the necessary resources and create a detailed project plan to address the issues and meet success criteria.
- Recommend Solutions: Present actionable solutions to business problems through clear reports and presentations. You’ll develop implementation plans and provide stakeholders with the necessary information to drive change.
- Audit Results: Monitor and ensure that actual results align with the expected outcomes, measuring the success of implemented solutions.

- Professional Experience: You bring expertise in solving internal business challenges, managing data, and collaborating across various functions within planning and operations.
- Analytical Expertise: You are highly skilled in using mathematics, simulation models, and data validation techniques to identify and correct operational problems.
- Strong Communication: Your excellent verbal and written communication skills will allow you to articulate complex data and present it clearly to stakeholders.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Experience working with multiple departments, ensuring alignment and driving solutions that benefit the organization as a whole.
- Change Management: Ability to adapt to and drive change across business processes, ensuring smooth transitions and successful implementation.
- Attention to Detail: You have a keen eye for accuracy and a creative approach to data analysis, ensuring that your insights are reliable and impactful.
- Eligibility: Must be in New Brunswick, and legally eligible to work in Canada
- Educational Background: A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent experience.
- Microsoft Office Proficiency: Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
- Self-Starter: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple projects effectively.
- Time Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
