Walker and Sloan are proud to be working with a Global Marketing Agency as they are keen to be looking to bring on a Director of Go to Marketing Strategy/Planning to the team on a full-time basis out of their HQ in London. The roel is hybrid with a few days in the office.

We are looking for a Director of Go-to-Market Strategy/Planning who can guide our diverse portfolio of B2B and B2C clients through complex market landscapes. With primary service lines in brand and product strategy, go-to-market (GTM) strategy, Account-Based Marketing (ABM), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), marketing automation, media planning and buying, web development, and creative production, we provide a holistic approach to digital and traditional marketing solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the strategic planning and execution of GTM initiatives that align with our clients’ business goals, across both B2B and B2C sectors.
Oversee the development of integrated marketing campaigns that leverage our full suite of services including ABM, sales and marketing enablement and automation.
Collaborate with internal teams (brand strategy, research and analytics, media, web development, creative and production) to ensure cohesive and innovative client solutions.
Interpret market analysis and insights to help clients stay ahead of industry trends and leverage new opportunities for growth.
Craft and manage high-impact marketing strategies that enhance customer engagement and brand loyalty.
Ensure all GTM strategies are scalable and adaptable across different markets and regions, particularly focusing on US, Europe and APAC.
Develop metrics and KPIs to assess campaign effectiveness and pivot strategies as necessary to meet objectives.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a senior advisor for marketing strategy concerns.
Lead, inspire, and mentor a diverse team of marketing professionals, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.

Experience / Skills Required:

Extensive experience in strategic marketing roles within an advertising agency environment, delivering successful GTM strategies for both B2B and B2C clients.
Comprehensive understanding of marketing disciplines, including ABM, CRM, marketing automation, media planning, and creative production.
Demonstrated ability to synthesize market data and competitive insights into strategic plans.
Proven leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and drive teams towards high performance.
Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in presenting and negotiating at the executive level.
