25+ year established, small (less than 100 employees), profitable manufacturing company located in the West Metro seeking a Full Time experienced CFO.
Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our mid-sized company. This role is ideal for a finance professional who thrives in a hands-on environment and is equally comfortable with strategic financial planning and day-to-day accounting operations. The CFO will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial health of the company while ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of daily financial processes.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Financial Leadership:
- Develop and implement short- and long-term financial strategies to support the company’s growth and profitability goals
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to the executive team to drive informed decision-making.
- Oversee cash flow management, budgeting, and forecasting to ensure financial stability
Day-to-Day Accounting Operations:
- Manage and oversee daily accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Reconcile income and expenses, and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements
Team Leadership and Collaboration:
- Supervise and mentor the finance and accounting team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with other departments, such as HR and operations, to align financial goals with overall business objectives
Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
- Prepare and present financial reports to stakeholders, including the executive team, board of directors, and regulatory bodies
Qualifications and Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or MBA preferred).
- Experience: Proven experience in a senior financial leadership role, ideally within a mid-sized company.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in accounting software and financial modeling tools.
