Position Description
The Business Analyst, Product Operations will support the VP of Product Operations and other senior leaders of CivicPlus to deliver results that help achieve financial and organizational objectives. This individual will conduct and enable comprehensive reporting and analysis across our portfolio of products as well as key strategic and technical programs. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and uphold standards that ensure data is accessible, accurate, and actionable.
This position plays a critical role in designing, maintaining, and contributing to systems and processes that empower product and technology leadership, as well as product teams, with the data they need to inform strategy, measure success, and support high-level reporting and decision-making.

Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or related role, preferably in a product or SaaS organization.

Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques (e.g., SQL, Excel, Python).

Expertise in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.

Familiarity with financial metrics and P&L reporting.

Proven experience maintaining data systems and ensuring reporting accuracy.

Demonstrated ability to partner with teams across the organization to deliver impactful reporting and insights.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments and present findings to stakeholders.
As a Business Analyst, Product Operations, you will:

Data Access and Systems Integration: Consolidate data from multiple systems and ensure data is available, accessible, and accurate across teams. Regularly evaluate and enhance existing data workflows to meet evolving business needs and support portfolio-wide reporting.

Comprehensive Reporting and Insights: Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that consolidate and communicate key business, product, and technology data. Provide data, analysis, and insights to support various strategic and technical programs.
- Support for Product Metrics and Analysis: Provide product teams with data and analysis to support business cases, track performance, and measure success against established goals. Partner with teams to ensure data-driven insights are used effectively to inform strategy and execution.

Data Governance and Reporting Standards: Establish and enforce governance processes and reporting standards that enable consistent and accurate use of data. Create documentation, guidelines, and best practices to scale reporting and enable teams to confidently access and leverage data.

Collaboration Across Functional Teams: Partner with cross-functional data teams, including Financial Planning & Analysis, Revenue Operations, and Research and Development, to ensure consistent and integrated reporting. Support data-driven initiatives by facilitating collaboration and providing the reporting infrastructure needed to achieve organizational objectives.
Compensation and Benefits:

Estimated Salary Range:$91,500 – 120,000

The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience and is based on a 40-hour work week.
