Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Strategy & Planning
- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company’s business goals.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to the CEO and Board for decision-making.
- Drive long-term financial planning, investment strategies, and risk management.
2. Budgeting, Forecasting & Financial Reporting
- Oversee the preparation of annual budgets, financial projections, and cost analysis.
- Monitor project financial performance and profitability metrics.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
3. Project Financing & Fundraising
- Secure project financing through banks, financial institutions, and private investors.
- Manage debt structuring, equity financing, and capital allocation for real estate projects.
- Negotiate funding terms and maintain strong relationships with financial institutions.
4. Cost Management & Profitability
- Optimize cost structures, ensuring efficient resource allocation in construction projects.
- Monitor direct and indirect costs to maximize profit margins.
- Implement cost-control measures to improve operational efficiency.
5. Cash Flow & Working Capital Management
- Ensure optimal cash flow management to support project execution and operations.
- Develop strategies to manage liquidity, vendor payments, and receivables.
- Mitigate financial risks through effective treasury management.
6. Compliance, Risk Management & Corporate Governance
- Ensure compliance with tax laws, real estate regulations, and financial reporting standards.
- Implement robust internal controls to mitigate financial risks and fraud.
- Oversee audits, legal financial obligations, and corporate governance standards.
7. Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Lead the finance, accounts, and taxation teams, ensuring their professional development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, legal, and sales teams.
- Present financial reports and strategies to investors, board members, and regulatory authorities.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: CA, CPA, CFA, or MBA (Finance) from a reputed institution.
- Experience: Minimum 15+ years in finance, with at least 8 years as a CFO in the real estate or construction industry.
- Skills:
- Expertise in real estate financing, construction cost management, and project feasibility analysis.
- Strong knowledge of financial planning, taxation, and corporate finance.
- Experience in fundraising, investor relations, and capital structuring.
- Proficiency in financial ERP systems (Highrise).
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and strategic thinking skills.
