Who You Are
We are seeking a Deal Desk Specialist to join the Critical Start Technologies Private Ltd. team, operating under the Critical Start umbrella, for our India operations. Critical Start’s Sales Support team plays a key role in the company’s sales organization, partnering closely with team members across departments to drive growth initiatives. As part of our Sales Operations department, you'll join a collaborative team with roles spanning Sales Support & Deal Desk, Business Intelligence, and Core Business Systems Administration. Together, we embrace opportunities to learn new things and solve challenges daily.
As a Deal Desk Specialist, you will be a highly valued partner for the sales team. You’ll stand out through your efficiency, attention to detail, and strong problem-solving skills, helping us meet customer needs through quoting and order acceptance. With our team expanding, you’ll have opportunities to make a positive impact every day! This role requires at least 75% overlapping work hours with U.S. business hours.
What You Will Be Doing?
- Support all new business and renewal sales quoting with accuracy and timeliness.
- Review and prepare incoming purchase orders for processing, ensuring alignment with the expectations of Sales and Finance teams per opportunity.
- Collaborate with Account Executives and regional sales leaders to support shared priorities.
- Continuously develop your knowledge of Salesforce, CPQ, and other sales productivity tools to support the team and drive system efficiency.
- Understand channel partner contracts and agreements to assist in various processes.
- Maintain a high level of data integrity and accuracy across internal systems.
- Analyze and prepare reports to support sales campaigns, initiatives, and territory deliverables.
- Gain a thorough understanding of Critical Start’s sales processes and metrics.
- Be goal-oriented and proactive in providing creative solutions to help Critical Start grow, scale, and exceed revenue targets.
- Act as a key contributor to the Sales Support team, fostering a team-centered attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to collaborative communication.
What You Will Bring?
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of relevant experience; transferable skills are welcome.
- High level of focus on process and attention to detail.
- Experience with CRM systems, particularly Salesforce, is preferred.
- Strong mathematical skills are required.
- Ability to work with at least 75% overlap with US business hours.
- Experience working with diverse global teams
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in multitasking and effective prioritization.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for clear, concise collaboration.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to identify challenges or blockers and communicate solutions effectively with on-the-go teams.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience in Sales Support, Inside Sales, Customer Service, Deal Desk, or similar roles is encouraged.
- Basic familiarity with sales terminology is a plus.
