Our programs are currently available to youth participants from Kindergarten through 8th grade. Our partners include high-level high schools as well as NCAA athletic programs in various sporting disciplines.Position OverviewWe are seeking a results-driven Director of Business Operations to play a critical role in managing and optimizing key operational functions. Reporting to the CEO, this role will oversee the execution and efficiency of Finance Operations, Program Facility Operations, Equipment Operations, and other general business operations while ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic priorities. The Director will work cross-functionally to drive operational excellence, streamline processes, and support long-term business growth.What You’ll Do:Oversee day-to-day execution of Finance Operations, Program Facility Operations, and Equipment Operations to ensure smooth and efficient business operations.Support the CEO and the business operational function in implementing company-wide initiatives, including data-driven strategies, process improvements, and operational frameworks to optimize efficiency,Develop and implement operational best practices for budgeting, resource allocation, and workflow improvements within each operational segment,Collaborate with Finance, Program Directors, Business Development, and cross-functional teams to track financial performance, improve cost efficiencies, and support business forecasting efforts,Identify and analyze critical processes crossing multiple stakeholders, ensuring alignment and consistency in communication and collaboration,Establish feedback loops to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in operational processes, driving continuous improvement initiatives,Work closely with product and technology teams to leverage automation and technology-driven solutions to streamline business operations,Oversee the implementation and execution of ad-hoc and regular payroll operations for Next Level program resources and Oversight of general accounts payable and receivable for program operations,Provide weekly and monthly reporting detailing payments made across all business operation functions.Lead and mentor direct reports within the operations team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellence,Assist in the design and implementation of the OKR (Objectives and Key Results) framework to measure and improve performance across operational functions,Identify opportunities for cost savings and resource optimization while maintaining high-quality service and efficiency.What We’re Looking For:7+ years of experience in business operations, finance operations, or a related field, with leadership experience in a growth-oriented environment.Proven ability to manage and improve operational processes across multiple teams and locations.Experience with ADP, Gusto, Rippling or other payroll software is a plus.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data insights into actionable improvements.Experience working cross-functionally with finance, technology, and program management teams to drive operational success.Hands-on leadership style with the ability to mentor and develop high-performing teams.Strong understanding of operational KPIs, financial metrics, and cost-efficiency strategies.Passion for youth sports and an appreciation of the operational complexities within a sports program organization is a plus.Our culture reflects our commitment to our communities.
