Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our financial strategy and operations. The CFO will play a crucial role in shaping the financial direction of the company, ensuring robust financial management, compliance with regulations, and effective risk management. This position requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in financial accounting and public accounting, capable of driving business analysis and market insights.
Duties
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's goals and objectives.
- Oversee all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS standards and COSO frameworks for internal controls.
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
- Prepare accurate financial reports and presentations for the executive team and board of directors.
- Manage expense management processes to optimize operational efficiency.
- Lead the finance team in executing financial operations while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide insights on business performance and strategic initiatives.
- Stay updated on changes in accounting standards, including ASC 606, to ensure compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
- Proven experience in financial management roles, particularly as a CFO or similar capacity.
- Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices.
- Familiarity with public accounting processes and regulations.
- Proficient in financial report writing and business analysis techniques.
- Experience with market analysis methodologies to inform strategic decisions.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
