As we continue to grow, we are looking for a skilled
Deal Desk Manager to own, streamline, and enhance our sales processes, ensuring that our revenue operations run efficiently and effectively. Role Overview:
As a
Deal Desk Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our end-to-end sales process. You'll work closely with the sales team to structure deals, manage contracts, and ensure that everything runs smoothly from quote creation to deal closure. Your contributions will be key in driving operational excellence and helping the team hit their revenue goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, refine, and maintain sales processes and best practices to ensure consistency and efficiency across the team.
- Act as a trusted advisor to the sales team on deal structuring, pricing, alternative contract options, and value propositions to help accelerate deal closures.
- Monitor and manage the deal desk queue, ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are consistently met.
- Review and approve or decline quotes and contracts, ensuring all proposals align with company guidelines and pricing strategies.
- Oversee the management and continuous improvement of the sales CRM system (HubSpot), ensuring it's optimized for efficiency and alignment with the sales team's needs.
- Work closely with Sales Enablement to ensure sales reps have the necessary tools, resources, and training to succeed.
- Identify areas of improvement within the deal desk function and drive initiatives to enhance workflow efficiency, accuracy, and overall team performance.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of proven experience in a sales operations or deal desk role (preferred).
- A passion for creating and refining efficient frameworks to optimize business operations.
- Experience with sales tools such as HubSpot (required), Gong, DealHub, and others (preferred).
- Experience in the SaaS B2B industry is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to partner with Go-To-Market (GTM) teams and cross-functional departments to drive results.
- Highly organized, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong Excel skills, with the ability to analyse and interpret data effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively and transparently across teams.
- Able to multitask and manage competing priorities, especially during high-volume periods.
- Basic understanding of revenue recognition rules (a plus).
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
