We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Deal Desk Analyst to support our growing sales team. This role is critical in ensuring that deals are structured to align with business objectives and financial guidelines. The ideal candidate will have strategic pricing experience - prefarbly in a SaaS environment - working across new business, existing business, and services engagements to optimise deal profitability, streamline the sales process, and enhance the customer experience.
Your Area Of Responsibilities
Deal Structuring & Pricing
- Collaborate with sales, finance, and legal to structure and approve compliant deals
- Develop and maintain pricing models and discounting strategies
- Ensure deals are compliant with company policies and financial objectives
Sales Support
- Provide real-time support and guidance to sales representatives on deal configurations, pricing, and contract terms
- Review and approve custom pricing requests and non-standard contract terms. Serve as a point of contact for escalations related to deal approvals and contract negotiations
Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to streamline the deal approval process and reduce sales cycle times
- Develop and implement best practices for deal structuring and approval workflows
- Train sales teams on new processes and tools
Cross-Functional Engagement
- Collaborate with sales, customer success and services teams to ensure seamless handoff and implementation of deals
- Engage with key stakeholders, including senior leadership, to understand their needs and provide solutions that align with business goals
- Foster strong relationships with internal teams to drive deal success and customer satisfaction
YOUR PROFILE
- 3+ years of experience in sales operations, finance, or a related role within a SaaS or technology company.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams.
- Proficiency in CRM and ERP systems (e.g., Salesforce, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of SaaS business models and software pricing strategies is highly desirable.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with deal desk operations in a high-growth SaaS environment.
- Familiarity with legal and contractual terms related to software sales and services.
