About this role
We are seeking an accomplished Business Operations Manager to support the delivery and optimisation of our strategic goals. This role will involve designing, implementing, and maintaining ProperTies’ business processes, systems, and frameworks. You will play a key role in managing and refining the Operating Model, onboarding key systems, and ensuring organisational processes are efficient and aligned with company objectives.
In addition to these responsibilities, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement, drive operational excellence, and lead the development of resources. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business analysis, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage relationships across all levels of the organisation.

What you will do
As a Business Operations Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing the management of the Operating Model for ProperTies’, including, daily operations.
- Ensuring timely completion of monthly and quarterly monitoring and reporting requirements, providing accurate and actionable insights to support business operations.
- Overseeing the ongoing management of third-party service providers, including internal IT systems and property management systems, to ensure tenant on-boarding services and other operational dependencies are effectively maintained.
- Owning and maintaining the Business Operating Manual, detailing operational processes, guidelines, and critical data points for employees.
- Identifying and addressing inefficiencies across organisational processes to enhance service delivery.
- Collaborating with stakeholders across departments within ProperTies and RLAM to ensure alignment on priorities and requirements.
- Facilitating change management initiatives to implement and embed new processes and systems.
- Monitoring and reporting on the performance of operational changes and recommending refinements as needed.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to elicit, define, and document business requirements and processes.
- Managing the Business Continuity and Crisis Management Plans, ensuring readiness and effective response to potential disruptions.
- Creating detailed functional specifications, user stories and process maps.
- Proposing and implementing process improvements to enhance operational effectiveness.
- Assessing the viability of proposed solutions, including resource, cost, and risk analysis.
- Providing recommendations on the most efficient and cost-effective approaches.
- Designing test cases and ensuring solutions meet business requirements.
- Supporting stakeholders in testing, validating, and approving delivered solutions.
- Analysing business data to generate insights and support decision-making.
- Developing dashboards or visualisations to monitor key performance indicators.
- Supporting the roll-out of new systems or processes by creating training materials and assisting in change adoption.
- Ensuring clear communication and smooth transitions for all impacted stakeholders.
- Identifying risks to successful project delivery and proposing mitigating strategies.
About you - your experience, knowledge and skills. Ideally you will be or have:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a Business Management or Business Analyst role, ideally in property management or real estate.
- Knowledge of business process mapping, change management, and system integration.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- The ability to excel in the use of business analysis tools.
- Familiarity with operational management systems.
- Experience leading system on-boarding projects.
- A track record of delivering operational improvements and measurable business outcomes.
- Knowledge of Agile or Lean methodologies.
