As casavi's CFO, you will be a key driver of our financial health, sustainable growth as well as long-term strategy. You will focus on SaaS-specific metrics, operational efficiency, and financial planning to ensure we capitalize on the significant opportunities in our rapidly evolving market. As a strategic partner to the CEO and a member of the Executive Leadership Team, you will:
Strategic Financial Leadership: Align financial goals with casavi’s broader business objectives, providing critical financial insights to inform product development, market expansion, and long-term strategy.
M&A Due Diligence & Integration: Lead development and execution of our M&A strategy, including financial due diligence for potential acquisitions and partnerships. Post-acquisition, ensure seamless integration of financial and organizational systems, processes, and reporting.
Team Management: Manage a highly experienced team of finance and business professionals, including our Head of Finance, Lead Accountant as well as our Teamlead Business Operations.
Financial Modeling & Forecasting: Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models to project growth, revenue, and expenses, ensuring sustainable scaling while proactively identifying and mitigating risks related to cash flow, currency fluctuations, and international expansion.
Budget Management & Resource Allocation: Oversee the company’s budget, strategically allocating resources to support key growth initiatives, including hiring, product development, and marketing.
Unit Economics & Pricing Optimization: Align key unit economics (LTV/CAC ratio, gross margins, etc.) with profitability goals and collaborate closely with product and Go-To-Market teams to optimize pricing strategies.
Financial Reporting & Analysis: Provide timely and insightful financial reports to the Executive Team and Advisory Board, offering clear visibility into the company’s financial performance and health.
Investor Relations & Fundraising: Cultivate and manage relationships with investors, lead fundraising rounds, and provide regular updates to stakeholders on financial performance.
Compliance & Scalability: Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and financial regulations. Build and scale our financial operations to support continued growth, including managing cloud infrastructure costs (a significant investment for SaaS businesses).
Proven experience as a CFO or senior financial leader in a comparable-sized tech company (ideally B2B SaaS), with a track record of leading teams of 5 or more
Exceptional communication and strategic advisory skills, with the ability to effectively challenge and support the CEO and leadership team
Demonstrated success in financial leadership, including cash flow management, financial planning, and driving company growth
Successful track record in investment banking, M&A undertakings and post-merger integration
Advanced degree in finance, accounting, or economics (MBA preferred)
Strong understanding of German tax and fiscal regulations
Fluency in both English and German, with experience working in an international environment
Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize tasks while effectively managing risks and opportunities
An open-minded and friendly team working with agile methods - as proven by our Kununu Score of 4,6
