Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic, strategic-minded Business Operations Facilitator to optimize processes, drive operational excellence, and contribute to our company’s expansion strategy. This role will focus on identifying inefficiencies, implementing scalable systems, and aligning business operations with long-term growth objectives.
A key responsibility of this role is to support integrating our manufacturing-based approach into our design, development, and construction processes, ensuring efficiency and scalability. The ideal candidate will be an analytical thinker, decisive in decision-making, and a strong leader through influence.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, reduce waste, and improve operational efficiency.
- Develop and optimize scalable business processes aligned with North Forest’s manufacturing-based approach to development and construction.
- Collaborate with area market and department leadership to enhance operational strategies, efficiency, and growth planning.
- Serve as a resource for training and coaching teams on continuous improvement methodologies.
Operational Excellence & Process Optimization
- Work closely with the Continuous Improvement (CI) Practitioner to implement lean methodologies across departments.
- Foster collaboration between market leaders, construction teams, and development teams to improve efficiency, cost control, inventory management, and quality practices- as outlined by our strategic road map.
- Support weekly huddles and regular Gemba walks to ensure operational alignment and continuous feedback loops.
Cross-Department Collaboration & Change Management
- Partner with our general managers, our design team, and construction teams to drive operational consistency.
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success and accountability.
- Collaborate with our safety team to drive an improved safety culture and operational compliance.
Project & Process Management
- Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks, ensuring smooth workflow across departments.
- Lead and support cross-functional projects that improve business efficiency, scalability, and customer experience.
- Apply hands-on problem-solving to support strategic initiatives and drive implementation.
Qualifications & Experience
✔ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
✔ Proven experience in business operations, process optimization, or continuous improvement (experience in manufacturing a plus).
✔ Strong expertise in lean principles, business efficiency, and change management.
✔ Exceptional strategic thinking, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
✔ Strong leadership and communication skills, with experience influencing teams across multiple departments.
✔ Experience in family-owned or entrepreneurial business environments is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
