We have been retained by a highly regarded professional services firm in downtown Fort Worth to identify candidates for the role of Chief Financial Officer. Our client is seeking a strategic leader who can guide their financial operations to ensure the continued success and sustainability of the firm. Strong leadership skills and experience in operational management are essential for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Direct and maintain responsibility for the financial functions of the firm in the role of key strategic and business advisor
- Oversee and participate in investment analysis, negotiations, employee benefits as well as compensation analysis and design
- Provide monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting for the firm and oversee the relationship with financial institutions and the outside accounting firm
- Oversee banking activities and cash management along with capital allocations and evaluating financial opportunities for the firm
- Monitor trends and performance benchmarks for the firm's industry and provide input and recommendations
- Participate in and present financial results to the Management Committee
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or higher degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA preferred
- 7+ years of accounting experience with recent experience in professional services preferred
- Demonstrate ability to understand the firm's business, comprehend how clients are acquired and serviced and how firm revenue is generated
- Review and recommend software solutions for financial reporting and billing
- Excellent oral and written communications skills: ability to communicate with partners, peers, clients, and others
- Strong leadership and management skills
