Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Director of Sales Operations & CRM to join our team at our Calhoun, GA location. Reporting to the SVP of Soft Surface Sales, this role is responsible for optimizing sales operations, enhancing CRM systems, and leveraging data-driven insights to improve customer engagement and business performance. The ideal candidate will have expertise in CRM management, sales analytics, and process optimization while serving as a strategic leader within the sales organization.
Key Responsibilities
CRM Management & Optimization:
- Lead Salesforce administration, configuration, and enhancement to improve sales effectiveness.
- Develop and execute a CRM adoption strategy, including training, troubleshooting, and system upgrades.
- Monitor CRM data quality, implement governance policies, and perform regular audits to ensure accuracy.
- Identify and implement automation and integration opportunities to enhance CRM efficiency.
Sales Analytics & Reporting:
- Design and manage sales performance dashboards and reports, providing actionable insights for leadership.
- Utilize Salesforce, HubSpot, Tableau, AS400, and other analytics tools to track and analyze key sales metrics.
- Identify trends, sales patterns, and customer behaviors to optimize sales strategies.
- Provide strategic recommendations based on data insights to improve revenue and operational efficiency.
Sales Operations & Process Improvement:
- Oversee sales forecasting, territory management, and quota planning to align with business objectives.
- Implement best practices to streamline sales processes, reduce inefficiencies, and improve productivity.
- Support marketing and finance teams with data-driven insights for sales initiatives and programs.
- Develop strategies to reduce administrative tasks for sales teams, allowing them to focus on revenue generation.
Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Act as the primary liaison between sales, marketing, finance, and IT teams to drive data-driven decision-making.
- Lead a team of CRM and sales operations specialists, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the sales organization.
Qualifications & Experience
- 8+ years of experience in sales operations, CRM management, and sales analytics.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Strong expertise in Salesforce CRM (certifications preferred) and other CRM tools.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, and data visualization tools.
- Proven track record of driving sales efficiency through process optimization and automation.
- Experience in data governance, data migration, and CRM integrations.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with experience in cross-functional collaboration.
