Primary Services is excited to announce the role of Business Operations Analyst for our client, a leading Fortune 500 company. This opportunity is perfect for an experienced data analyst looking to advance their career while working with cutting-edge tools and technologies. You will support operational efficiencies by analyzing data, identifying trends, and contributing directly to business strategy.

Responsibilities:

Translate data into Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint for analysis and presentation.
Develop reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights to management.
Deliver information and analysis that support business strategy by identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
Utilize SQL to pull simple data sets on demand.
Document and update process flows as needed, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
Serve as the main point of contact for production issue triage and resolution.
Conduct root-cause analysis to identify process gaps, recommend, and implement solutions.
Handle regulatory changes and escalations, ensuring compliance and timely resolution.
Contribute to the execution and implementation of new business, regulatory changes, and platform integrations through requirements gathering, gap analysis, and UAT coordination.
Participate in multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion of deliverables.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Associate degree required, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
3-5 years of experience in analysis, data analytics, or project management.
Proficient in Microsoft tools: Word, Excel, Outlook, and Visio.
Experience with SQL for data extraction and analysis.
Knowledge of the deregulated energy market is preferred.
Previous experience in the energy/utility industry is a plus.
Proficient in SharePoint, Power BI, and SQL Server Management Studio.
Strong analytical and mathematical skills with the ability to solve complex problems.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities.
Ability to work independently and make decisions accordingly.
Effective oral and written communication skills, capable of presenting findings succinctly.
Ability to collaborate professionally with internal teams, management, external vendors, and utilities.
