We are seeking a Business Operations Manager for an HVAC company that is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's daily operations, ensuring smooth workflows, maximizing profits, and maintaining customer satisfaction, including managing staff, finances, and client relationships, as well as maintaining office dispatching services, overseeing all operations in various departments.
- Operational Oversight:
- Ensuring all operations run smoothly and align with quality standards.
- Overseeing scheduling, invoicing, and customer service.
- Managing the flow of work orders and ensuring their accuracy and completeness.
- Overseeing the ordering and receiving of materials and equipment for scheduled jobs.
- Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement.
- Staff Management:
- Managing and developing the service, installation, or sales staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Scheduling employees and setting work priorities.
- Resolving customer issues and complaints to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Financial Management:
- Managing labor expenses and staying within budget guidelines.
- Overseeing accounting, bank processes, and money handling.
- Monitoring financial data and recommending solutions to improve profitability.
- Client Relations:
- Initiating and maintaining client liaison to resolve issues and ensure client satisfaction.
- Providing clear and concise communications to customers, vendors, and suppliers.
- Strategic Planning:
- Developing and implementing strategies to improve efficiency and profitability.
- Participating in the marketing process of the department.
- Conducting research and identifying new business opportunities.
- Other Duties:
- Generating reports and measuring departmental operations.
- Instructing crews on proper use of materials and quality workmanship.
- Reviewing payroll records to ensure proper payment of technicians and compliance with record keeping.
