Job Description – Salesforce CPQ Developer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Salesforce CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) Consultant/Developer to design, implement, and optimize Salesforce CPQ solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience configuring Salesforce CPQ, automating pricing and quoting processes, and integrating it with other Salesforce clouds and external systems.
This role requires strong technical and functional knowledge of Salesforce CPQ, business process analysis skills, and experience with declarative and programmatic customizations.
Key Responsibilities:
CPQ Configuration & Implementation
- Design and configure Product Bundles, Pricing Rules, Discount Schedules, and Approval Processes in Salesforce CPQ.
- Implement and maintain Advanced Pricing Logic, Quote Templates, and Contract Management.
- Customize Quote-to-Cash workflows to streamline pricing, quoting, and order management.
- Develop and configure MDQ (Multi-Dimensional Quoting) for subscription-based pricing models.
- Configure Guided Selling to enhance the user experience and improve quoting efficiency.
Customization & Development
- Develop custom solutions using Apex, Lightning Components (LWC), Flow, and Triggers where standard CPQ features are insufficient.
- Implement CPQ Plugins to handle complex pricing calculations and validations.
- Automate Quote Generation, Amendments, Renewals, and Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM).
- Ensure seamless integration with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Billing, and third-party applications (e.g., ERP, Payment Gateways, etc.).
Integration & Data Management
- Work with Salesforce APIs, REST/SOAP integrations, and middleware tools (MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, etc.) to connect CPQ with external systems.
- Migrate and maintain pricing, product catalogue, and contracts between legacy systems and Salesforce CPQ.
- Optimize Data Models and Performance Tuning for handling large-volume quotes.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Support
- Collaborate with Sales, Finance, and Operations teams to gather requirements and translate them into CPQ solutions.
- Conduct User Training, UAT (User Acceptance Testing), and Documentation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve CPQ-related production issues in a timely manner.
- Stay updated with Salesforce releases and new CPQ features to recommend best practices.
