The Business Operations Team at Midi Health uses data and process development to drive business performance and strategic outcomes. We collaborate with Clinical Operations, Marketing, Customer Success, Billing & Insurance, and more to optimize resource utilization and ensure operational excellence.
As a Business Operations Manager, you'll play a key role in driving critical business outcomes and operational efficiency initiatives. You'll partner with Product, Engineering, and Data Science to build analytics solutions that enhance decision-making.
In this role, you will:
- Optimize provider utilization to reduce patient wait times and improve scheduling efficiency
- Analyze revenue leakage and implement process improvements to maximize capture
- Build forecasting models to predict demand fluctuations and optimize staffing strategies
- Identify bottlenecks in the virtual care workflow and implement solutions
- Enhance digital patient intake processes to improve conversion rates and reduce no-shows
- Develop performance dashboards tracking key telehealth metrics (appointment fill rates, cancellations, provider utilization, patient satisfaction)
- Design and implement experiments to test new operational approaches
- Automate manual processes to increase operational efficiency
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering to prioritize features that address operational challenges
- 4+ years of experience in Operations, Business Analytics, Strategy, Project Management, Data Analysis, Data Science, or Engineering
- Well-versed in Google Sheets/Excel and proficient with SQL
- Experience with analytics and business intelligence tools (e.g., Quicksight, Looker)
- Experience building supply and demand forecasts and utilization management models
- Strong process improvement skills—experience defining processes, building playbooks, and managing change
- Experience with no-code automation tools, AI agents, etc. is a plus
- Ability to translate business needs into operational requirements and KPIs
- Curiosity—you love digging into problems and finding solutions
