We believe that Business Development is an art and that sales, partnerships and marketing live in the same house – at Bonside that’s our Commercial team. We are looking for a candidate that buys into the future we are building and is excited to join the Commercial side of the business and to lead the Sales function of a new-to-market software.

What we’re looking for:
We are looking for an organized, highly-motivated Sr. Sales Manager to join the Commercial team at Bonside. As an early member of our team, you will be given a seat at the table to drive adoption and secure opportunities that meaningfully shape Bonside’s trajectory.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
1. Bringing a new software product to market
- Build out a robust Sales funnel
- Research and build out a comprehensive prospecting list and Sales roadmap
- Collaborate with the team to create necessary collateral, tools and projections
- Work closely on initiatives to engage prospects
2. Pitching and closing new business
- Generate qualified leads through top-of-funnel activities
- Own the pitch process and funnel management
- Close new national and regional users
3. A deep understanding of the retail sector, proptech industry, and/or real estate
- Actively research and monitor the retail and real estate landscape
- Existing relationships with national and regional real estate contacts
4. Cultivating strong relationships and gathering market feedback/insights
- Codifying insights and bringing them back to the team for consideration in future product planning
- Overseeing the new user onboarding and ensuring a smooth transition to the customer management
- Proactively assessing the temperature of the market and sharing those insights effectively with the internal team
5. Tracking and organization
- CRM management (Hubspot)
- Keep accurate and timely records of sales activity
- Weekly, monthly, and quarterly Sales reports
- Assist in researching and developing tools to evolve efficiency and cross-functional collaboration within Commercial and with other cross-functional teams
Requirements:
- Highly-organized, trustworthy and collaborative personality
- Ownership mentality – excited and able to own and run a sales function
- Resourceful and creative – this role is integral to the near and mid-term goals of the business with lots of potential for growth and added responsibilities
- Strong communication and networking skills – can confidently walk into a room, identify opportunities, and naturally figure out an “in”
- Flexibility to ebb and flow with changing business priorities
- Retail, property development, landlord, proptech or other directly applicable knowledge and relationships is a must
- Finance knowledge is a plus
- 6-8 years of experience in a sales or business development, sales, or growth role – have overseen and executed a soup-to-nuts sales function
