Sales Operations Analyst to join our dynamic team. This individual will play a key role in analyzing sales data to improve performance and productivity, collaborating with sales teams to identify trends, optimize processes, and implement strategic changes.
Inventory Sales Company, based in St. Louis, MO, is a premier distributor of all types of fasteners, strut channel and fittings, sign hardware and weld studs. We service the Industrial and Commercial Contruction industries
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
The ideal candidate must be able to perform the following tasks satisfactorily:
- Data Management: Expert in handling large datasets and utilizing tools (e.g., CRM systems, Excel, PowerBI) to extract meaningful data and insights.
- Reporting & Visualization: Design clear and concise reports with data visualizations (charts, graphs) to communicate key insights to stakeholders.
- Sales Metrics Expertise: Strong understanding of critical sales metrics, including conversion rates, average deal size, sales cycle length, and how to interpret their business implications.
- CRM Systems: In-depth experience with CRM systems (e.g., Dynamics 365, Proton AI), with a focus on defining presales processes, tracking sales activities, and managing sales pipelines.
- PowerBI Dashboards: Technical proficiency in creating and defining PowerBI dashboards for better decision-making and performance tracking.
- Project Management Tools: Familiarity with tools like Azure DevOps and ticketing systems to manage sales initiatives and deadlines.
- Territory Management Software: Experience with data mapping software for efficient territory management.
- Lead Qualification Tools: Familiarity with prospect management and lead qualification tools to enhance the sales process.
- Internal Presentations: Assist in creating internal presentations, including case studies and success stories, to support sales team initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in sales operations, sales analysis, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills with an ability to work with large datasets and extract actionable insights.
- Proficiency with CRM systems, Excel, PowerBI, and project management tools.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with sales forecasting, pipeline management, and sales process optimization.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
