Job Description Summary
Strategic and results-driven Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Commercial Real Estate (CRE) within Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) at Wells Fargo. The CFO of CRE partners closely with business and finance leadership to drive strategic decision-making, financial performance, and balance sheet optimization for CRE. The role will report directly to the CFO of CIB with accountability and responsibility to the head of CRE and will serve on both leadership teams.

In This Role, You Will
- Lead all aspects of the CRE Finance team including financial planning, financial reporting, and balance sheet and capital management
- Develop and execute financial strategies to drive growth, efficiency, and profitability across all CRE businesses including lending, treasury management, and CRE capital markets (e.g., loan syndications, CMBS issuance, multifamily capital)
- Act as a key partner to the CRE business and provide senior leadership across all day-to-day aspects of the business
- Develop presentations and analyses in support of business reviews and strategic discussions with executive management of both CIB and Wells Fargo
- Partner with stakeholders across Wells Fargo on CRE-related matters, including Corporate Treasury, Controllers, Investor Relations, and Risk Management
- Actively participate on CRE's capital committee which evaluates and decisions client-level extensions of credit based on a range of factors including transaction returns, relationship returns, risk appetite, and other strategic objectives
Required Qualifications, US:
- 8+ years of Finance experience or equivalent experience demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 4+ years of Management experience
Desired Qualifications, US:
- Senior experience in commercial real estate
- Experience as a CFO of a line of business or company
- Effective communicator and experience presenting to clients or executive management
Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$207,900.00 - $431,900.00
