We have a vacancy for a Sales Operations Executive based at our offices in Quedgeley who will be supporting the European Commercial Team by assisting with the smooth running of sales processes. The primary responsibility of The Sales Operations team will be to facilitate sales activities and aid in the progression of sales opportunities from lead generation to closure.
As a Sales Operations Executive you will work closely with sales representatives, management, and cross-functional teams to ensure that our sales strategies are effectively implemented and optimised. You will play a crucial role in the generation & execution of sales and the retention of existing customer business to ensure targets are hit.
Responsibilities
- Managing sales activities, helping track leads, and ensuring timely follow-up on sales opportunities
- Providing customer service support by addressing inquiries and delivering timely and accurate information to enhance customer satisfaction
- Processing customer orders
- Recording requests and processing purchase orders (POs) when received through the relevant internal process for that order.
- Working closely with the sales team to generate quotes for new and repeat business
- Producing quotations for new & repeat business for sales, service, rental & repair, working in conjunction with sales representatives where required.
- Managing shared email inboxes
Experience/Skills
- Experience in sales operations, sales support, or a related role
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive decision-making.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- A proactive attitude and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Experience of working as part of a team
- Experience of working with internal and external customers
- Experience of working to deadlines
